Something Silly I wrote in 1999

“If you look throughout the world, France has to be the worst partner that this country has ever had. They’ll sell a nuclear weapon to anybody giving them 10 cents more to the next guy.”

“Germany wants to take over the world economically. They failed militarily … The Germans are trying to take over the world economically, there’s no question about that.”

“Look, I have a lot of Saudi friends. They are very, very good friends of mine, and they’re terrific, and they laugh at this country, how stupid. They have boats bigger than any boats you’ve ever seen, they have houses all over the world, including Palm Beach. They have houses like you’ve never seen before — all because we’re so stupid.”

Critical Analysis

“The Donald” is on to something here. Facing bankruptcy a few years back, he successfully exploited the government’s corporate welfare policies to stay afloat. He is familiar with big business and already has several years experience in exploiting resources overseas for profit. His familiarity with greed and exploitation should allow Donald to be a successful president with little effort. Unlike other candidates, Trump is smart enough to play stupid and pretend that the government is the bad guy while our foreign policy rests on international terrorism and exploitation in our quest to bring Trump Plaza to all corners of the globe. Trumps quotes (yes — they are real) above display his uncanny knack for charisma and cooperation we need in a president. His comment about the Saudis is frighteningly on the mark.
